DEPOSIT

Only once a deposit is received is the date secured and the cake order confirmed.  A deposit of 30% of the total order is required at the time of booking.  Deposits can be made by bank transfer or paypal (paypal charges a 3.4% transaction fee, this will be added to the invoice).   Please note that deposits are non-refundable, as the deposit secures your date and subsequently any other cake requests are declined on the basis that the date/s in question are unavailable.

FINAL PAYMENT

The outstanding balance of the order will be due 2 weeks prior to collection / delivery.

ALTERATIONS TO DESIGN

​

If any alterations to the design are required, this can be accommodated depending on notice given, however, this may incur additional charges.

COLLECTION OF ORDER

​

You are welcome to collect your order, however, once an order has been collected responsibility lies with the purchaser for safe delivery.  We cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred once the order leaves the premises.  

Advice will be given on storing / preserving your cake prior to your event.

Photographs will be taken of the cake prior to release for reference purposes.

Upon collection / delivery all cakes must be signed for, either by the person collecting the cake, or by the person the delivery of the cake is made to (if delivering).  This is to ensure customer satisfaction of the cake order. 

 

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-returnable.  If however, the full payment has been received (and the order is cancelled with more than 2 weeks’ notice, or 6 weeks if a wedding cake), a refund will be given minus the deposit paid.

ALLERGENS

​

Please notify us of any allergens when making enquiries, so that we can ensure that we have the correct products and can cater for your needs.  We cannot be held responsible for any food intolerances / allergies that we have not been made aware of.  I would like to stress that my kitchen is not gluten free.

PHOTOGRAPHY

​

We will take photographs of all our designs for future reference and to build our portfolio.  These images will be shared on our facebook page and website.
